Yoga: Private Instruction with Freedom

Private Instruction
with Freedom

Private Yoga instruction is done for those who wish to have yoga taught in their personal home setting or for those who need special instruction.

An asana series is designed specifically for a person's age, culture, time availability, and health. Both structural and internal health issues are addressed. For internal health problems an Ayurvedic consultation may be required first followed by yoga chikitsa (remedial yoga asanas). For Chronic disorders and other delicate situations yoga chikitsa is done alongside with the advise of a licensed physician. These type of classes are primarily structural and focused on various types of alignment with in poses based in Iyengar style yoga.

Regular private classes advance according to the level of effort of the student. Pranayam, asana, alignment, sequencing, mudra, bandha, and yoga philosophy are all integrated according to the wants and needs of the student.

Private Yoga Instruction $60 per hour session

Sessions focus on designing a yoga practice for a person’s individual body type and mental state. Specific asana, mudra, and pranayama are given for one’s own constitution, and pranic imbalances. A personally designed yoga practice insures faster and better results than generalized classes. Sessions focus both on healing structural imbalances as well as opening and strengthening the body.

For classes in your home, additional fees may be applied depending on location.
