Chayalis Patala Of Sri Achyuta Das:
Patala 6, Mantra TattvaFrom the knowledge of the aksharas and their coming together by akash they form words. Omkara broke into 50 varnas (colors) which were the aksharas. These 50 aksharas combine in countless (asankya) ways to form countless bijas. These countless bijas are the cause of the creation of the countless creatures in the creation. These combinations are caused by some full and some half (matra) aksharas. It is in the ardha aparna M that has shakti. The importance of a mantra |

The best mantra is the one given by the guru, such a mantra is called a Guru Datta mantra. It is this mantra that causes the mind to move in the right direction and achieve the purpose for which the native came to the guru. It is through this that the entire scriptures and four Vedas can be mastered and there is no other way to have the Vedic knowledge. A person must sit on a nirmala (clean) asana that has been purified. Real mantra japa should be done after dyana and in the method of dhyäna. In the beginning first say Jaya Guru. There after take the nama mantra and start meditating on the two petaled lotus. At the time your mind will go from here to there and you will see many new sights, have strange experiences and karmas, remember, do not be swayed or push anyone or anything that comes into your mind. All of them are your gurus, even if it is a crow, know that it is your guru and has come to protect you. They have come to guide your mind and fix it in the path. Remember at japakala there is nobody who is yours (no father, no mother, no wife, etc.), at that time nobody can obstruct you. Hari, Hara and even Brahma cannot come to disturb you at that time and know that whoever has come, no matter the form, is no other than your guru and has come to help you and fix your mind, hence do pranam to him. Whether an animal or bird, it is your guru and do not misbehave with him. Happily keep reciting the mantra and when his job is done he will himself go away. After some time, the mantra and the mana dissolve into one another. This mantra is mantra tatva rasa (the secret essence of mantra). |
