Ajaya Leaves for 6 months in India (1/07)
Vyasa SJC student, Ajaya, leaves for 6 months of study in India. He will be learning Sanskrit in Varanasi, visiting many astrological power points in India, and journeying to the copper plates of Achyuta.
The Jaimini Upadesha Sutras Course (posted 1/07)
28 students were accepted to begin lessons that started on Makara Sankranti 2007 preparing them for the three week intensive in the Himalayas with Pandit Sanjay Rath. While Jupiter transits Scorpio this teaching will begin the first full transmission of Jaimini through the Rath lineage of Orissa.

Sankranti Dosha Puja (12/06)
Amrita Kelley Performed a Sankranti Dosha Puja in Puri with local priests used by the Sri Jagannath Center. She was born on a Satruday Sankranti so the puja was performed on a Saturday. Saturn is her seventh lord, and days after the puja she became engaged.
